About Jessica Pawli

Pawli is most certainly one of the staples of the music community in Orlando. She is a major advocate for the Orlando community and continues to harvest an ever growing music scene, while giving back to charitable organizations and individuals in need whenever possible. Her love of music began by listening to her parents’ records as a child, and singing in school choirs and chorus. Jessica first started investing in the local music scene while working as a radio disc jockey at O-Rock 105.9 in the early 2000’s, then at WPRK 91.5 FM for 12 years. She took her first live music event promotional gig for the Honky-Tonk Sunday event in 2006, and quickly turned it into her signature event, Southern Fried Sunday. Jessica has since booked and organized events for hundreds of bands, venues, restaurants and festivals, including The Orlando Fringe Festival Outdoor Stage, The Plaza Live’s Front Porch Series, Will’s Pub, and the Sundown Sessions at Lil Indies.

Jessica loves sharing her musical tastes, and DJ’ing vinyl records whenever possible. Professionally, Jessica has been focused on developing her own public relations, marketing, production company, Pawli PR, with the philosophy that by assisting others in cultivating their creativity she is cultivating positivity for the entire Orlando community. You can hear Jessica DJ as Dee J. Pawli at least once a month at the Orlando all-vinyl listening bar Proper, and follow her events at her FB and IG pages. One of the events she is hosting at Will’s Pub is called Rebel Hearts Club Ball where we have our talented local musicians come together for a night of indie music of different  on Valentine’s Day. It’s a collaboration with Women Musicians of Orlando, Southern Fried Sundays and La Femme Du Fromage. Be sure to grab a ticket willspub.org.
